NSC Award Presentations

Friday

Authors will deliver a five (5) minute oral presentation with slides discussing their aims, methods, results and conclusions. This will be followed by a three (3) minute question period led by the adjudicators and moderated by the session Chair.

Saturday

Format requirements for PowerPoint Presentations
  • Please note that standard AV will be provided including data projection, laptop, audio, lectern and microphone. 
  • Presentations should be done in 16:9 format. As a guide, it is best to use no more than 8 lines of bold print per page, try not to make your slides too busy.
  • PowerPoint presentations need to be downloaded onto a USB stick and brought with you to the congress. Please ensure you check-in at the Speaker Preparation Room at least 2 hours prior to your session. Details regarding the location of the Speaker Preparation Room will be available via the General Information which will be sent out the week prior to the congress.

Open posters

Friday

Authors will deliver a 90 second oral presentation, followed by 60 seconds for questions moderated by the session Chair. All presentations will be held during a refreshment break in the Exhibition Hall. No additional slides, other than your digital poster presentation will be accepted.

Saturday

ePosters

  • In addition to the scheduled presentation sessions, ePoster terminals will be set up for delegates to browse all of the ePosters at their leisure. The ePosters will also be available to view in the congress app.

  • To ensure optimal display quality, all ePosters must be designed in a 9:16 portrait format, sized at 2160 x 3840 pixels. Please export your final file at the highest possible resolution. All ePosters must be submitted as a single page PDF to the ePoster DropBox here by Monday 8 September 2025.
