Accommodation @ NSC 2027

I’m Chiba, your travel companion for NSC 2027 in Kyoto, Japan! I’ll be joining you on the journey and sharing helpful tips, travel advice and information, including places to stay during your time in Kyoto.

Accommodation

We have secured discounted accommodation at a selection of hotels in Kyoto for delegates attending the Congress. To ensure delegates receive the best available rates and inclusions, these room blocks will be released on a rolling basis, in line with each hotel’s booking launch timeline, room block availability and the activation windows for discounted rates and promotional codes.

Each hotel’s dedicated booking link will be added to the Congress website as soon as it becomes available, and registered delegates will be notified by email as new accommodation options are released. In the meantime, we recommend delegates complete their Congress registration now and look out for our accommodation updates in the coming weeks.

Choosing Your Accommodation

ICC Kyoto is located directly next to Kokusaikaikan Station, the northern terminus of the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line. For ease of travel to and from the Congress each day, we recommend delegates choose accommodation within walking distance of a station on the Karasuma Line, which runs north to south through central Kyoto and connects directly to Kyoto Station. Popular areas along the line include Kyoto Station, Gojo, Shijo, Karasuma Oike and Kitaoji, with journey times to ICC Kyoto of approximately 20 minutes from Kyoto Station and no transfers required. Delegates staying near the Tozai Line can also reach the venue easily by changing to the Karasuma Line at Karasuma Oike Station.

Booking Terms and Enquiries

Please note that all accommodation bookings are made directly between the delegate and the hotel. Payment will also be made directly to the hotel, and each hotel’s own booking, payment, cancellation and amendment terms will apply. ASA does not hold or manage individual accommodation bookings on behalf of delegates. Any enquiries, changes, cancellations or issues relating to your accommodation booking should therefore be directed to the hotel itself, using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation.

Discounted Accommodation via Booking.com

Delegates can access exclusive discounted rates across a wide range of Kyoto properties through our private Congress portal on Booking.com. This portal offers rates that are not available through public booking channels, giving delegates greater choice of location, budget and room type for their stay.

To access these rates, please book using the private link below. Bookings are made directly with the property through Booking.com, and payment, cancellation and amendment terms will vary by hotel, so we recommend reviewing the conditions of your chosen rate carefully before confirming. Rates and availability are subject to change, so we encourage delegates to book early to secure their preferred accommodation.
